Inside Voices is a moving time capsule of the lives of over 120 student artists, created through a devised theater process, from mid-March to mid-May of 2020. Waiting Room picks up in late 2020 and follows the lives of student artists as the pandemic continues through mid-May of 2021. These films explore uncertainty, grief, stasis and change, and art and community in unprecedented times. The animation in these films was created in tandem with the videos and stories shared by artists throughout the film-making process. 

This Is The Way is a short film that features the story of six student superheroes who are facing down their greatest threat: a villain known as the Covid Slop. Working together, the heroes discover the villain's weakness, and lure him into a hand sanitizer trap to save the day! This piece was created in partnership with elementary artists at Miner Elementary School - together with their theater teachers, they created the script and initial ideas for the story, and these ideas come to life through animation in the final film!
